​Help us to create a Recipe book

We are inviting parishioners (past and present) to offer a recipe or two for a new parish recipe book,
'A Dominican Table'.

Your recipes should be of significance to you, perhaps a family favourite, or your 'go-to' for welcoming friends and family, or perhaps something that you grew up treasuring. Everything from Oatcakes to Soups, Pavlova to Stew, Pastries to Fish Pie. We welcome a range of contributions from the simple and wholesome, to the more complex.

We would like the following. Firstly, the recipe itself (with details of ingredients and cooking method), secondly, a short paragraph offering an insight/story about the importance of the recipe for you. Lastly (and this is optional), you can share a complimentary and meaningful passage of text or poetic verse or an encouraging reflection.

We will gather your contributions to create the recipe book -
'A Dominican Table'. The profits from the sale of the book will be shared with food initiatives in the City of Edinburgh and in the wider Dominican Community. We will also make the recipes freely available online post publication.

Sending your Recipe

Alternatively, you can use the contact form (below the email button) to send us your contribution from this page.

We will publish contributors names with their recipe but,
​If you prefer to only have your initials or your first name used, please let us know.
